Texas Hall of Wildlife

So the Texas Memorial Museum, home of the Natural Science Exhibit turns out to be an enormous tease. It's a big, impressive building on campus that I walk by all the time. You go in it, however, and wtf? There's no real animal life except for pinned butterflies (and clearly that's not life). There are some cool rocks, a dinosaur skeleton suspended from the ceiling, and some shiny bugs on display. So you think "Oh! Hall of Texas Wildlife! Sweet!" and head upstairs.

Lies! I tell you, its all lies. There are replicas of animals but no real ones. Not even any stuffed ones!

The rocks turned out be the coolest thing in there.
