Snow, Texas-style.
It was a flurry. People were WAY EXCITED. Pretty much anyone who was awake (it was late last night) was outside.

I am not mocking or hating on you, Tejas! I'm just posting about things that are different, surprising, confusing, amusing, or hilarious to me as a New Englander... or, as y'all prefer to call me, a Yankee.
PS: No seriously. I can't mock you because the word "y'all" is unconsciously in my thoughts... and now in my speech as well. Yes, it has happened: I say "y'all" on a regular basis.

thats exactly how we are here in AZ. if it starts "snowing" we freak out and take pictures of the flakes. you cant catch it though, because it melts immediately.
I'm originally from Louisiana, and it just snowed there. While I live in Colorado now, it's still strange to hear about snow in Louisiana.
Everyone that I knew we're going crazy about the snow. My response - two feet yesterday. No big deal. I guess the excitement-by-snow-effect is gone. Sigh.

Cool. My cousin is in Austin and we just got our first snow here in NYC....screwed up the airports and traffic, but not my sleigh riding !! Boo-yah !! No one stops the King from sledding !!
